GMI Appoints John Purrier as Vice President of Global Technology

31 October 2007

GMI hired John Purrier as VP of Global Technology, which is a fancy way of saying he’s the head of our software division. Purrier has more than 25 years of software experience, including 13 years as a Microsoft exec. He also founded several Seattle startup technology companies.

“As a technology company, scalable, enterprise-class software is core to our business,” explains Mike Brochu, GMI’s CEO. “John’s experience, first at Microsoft, and then at several startup software companies makes him the perfect candidate to take our industry-leading research software to the next level.”

“Market research is rapidly moving online. GMI is ideally positioned to be the technology platform to power market research,” says Purrier. “I look forward to participating with our global development teams as we build GMI’s next generation solutions.”
