GMI Soccer Team Starts Slow but has Intensity
27 April 2007The 2007 GMI co-rec soccer team is three games into the season, and defending their 2006 championship might be difficult. Our record, $-%-@ (not noteworthy), does not accurately represent the team’s talent. Vacations and work commitments have prevented the GMI soccer team from fielding a full team each match. However, what we lack (a win) is clearly overcome with our intensity levels.
Everyone knows the true reason for sport is to (win) have fun and bond up with colleagues. It is also good to survive 60 minutes of sprinting and controlling a soccer ball across a large field. So far, the only notable injury belongs to Joe Marchesano with a nasty toe nail incident. Joe M is one of three Joes on the GMI Soccer team.
