Tim Macer reviews Research Analyzer 2.0
23 March 2007Tim Macer reviewed Research Analyzer 2.0 in the February 2007 edition of Research Magazine in the UK, and gave it points for its ease-of-use, price and cross-platform compatibility. He said that it “neatly combines online data service with off-line convenience and speed” and “offers a serious range of analytical capabilities”.
Research Analyzer is easy-to-use, and allows you to create cross-tabs with drag-and-drop ease, export data in a variety of formats, including SPSS and Triple-S, and publish reports in PowerPoint. Research Analyzer also offers Excel LiveTable, which enables users to make modifications to the data.
Since the review, GMI has launched Research Analyzer 2.1 to address some of Tim’s constructive criticism of the tool. The new version includes enhances weighting wizards, scaling and summary tables, and new table formats that are easy to read. New updates are coming soon, including new documentation and help documents and the ability to make blanket changes to tables and charts that have already been set up.
