The NBI, created by government advisor Simon Anholt and powered by GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), is the world’s first analytical ranking of nation brands. In Q4 2006, 25,649 online consumers across 35 countries were surveyed about their perceptions of 38 different nations across six areas of national competence: Investment and Immigration, Exports, Culture and Heritage, People, Governance and Tourism.
