African-American culture study

10 January 2008

GMI powered a study about African-American culture, surveying a sample of its own online community of more than 100,000 African-Americans. The study covered topics as varied as the current U.S. political landscape, and how the African-American vote might affect the upcoming presidential election. We examined the state of African-American literature, as well as inter-racial marriage and its effect on the African-American community. We also asked about the African-American social status, and whether ‘bling’ was more important than family, career and education. The study also covered the African-American marketplace and the importance of the African-American business owner.

We will publish more extensive data of this study in the coming weeks.
